Application and Properties
Solvent Violet 13 is purple powder, insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, chlorobenzene, xylene, dimethylformamide, ethanol, acetone and chloroform. It is dark green in concentrated sulfuric acid, and appears olive colour after dilution with reddish blue precipitate.
