| Message: | In most studies favorable results have been shown with dosages around 500mcg or 5mcg/kg per day or every other day with the dosage split 1/2 30 minutes prior to tanning and the other 1/2 immediately after tanning for the first week. After the first week a maintenance dose of 500mcg or 5mcg/kg was used 1-3 times a week with the dosage split 1/2 30 minutes prior to tanning and the other 1/2 immediately after tanning. The amount of time normally spent during a tanning session was typically reduced in 1/2 at first until it is known how skin will react to the ultra violet light exposure. Results usually appeared 2-3 days later. Tanning is not required in order for this peptide to work. Tanning increases the effects of this peptide. Melanotan II can be used any time of the day. |
