Kersey is a material based on a multilayer cotton or synthetic fabric treated with film-forming substances (rubber, polymer). Used as a leather substitute. The surface of the kersey is embossed to simulate the texture of pigskin. It goes mainly to the production of bootleg and other parts of shoes in the production of workers and military boots.
There are several types of kersey:
Kersey 3K or "Universal" - a universal kersey for work shoes.
Kersey L1 - wear-resistant kersey for military shoes.
