Having actually directed Sunsail's Port Solent based procedures for 7 years, Prometheus Sailing was established in 2021 as the moment was right for the team to take control of ownership and administration of the fleet.
Our name Prometheus Sailing was motivated by the Greek god Prometheus. His duty in Greek mythology was to bring expertise and civilisation to mankind.
We run the biggest sailing school in the UK, educating lots of people to sail each year. Additionally we introduce and educate many people to enjoy sailing with our corporate sailing tasks. From this our company name was born.
